Technical detail on our cleaning process
OUR WINDOW CLEANING PROCESS
External work is carried out using a high-reach WFP system - Water Fed Pole - whilst the internal work via a traditional squeegee method.
WATER FED POLE SYSTEM - WFPS
* The work is done from the ground, thus making it safer, less intrusive and faster than traditional methods.
* The WFP System uses tap water, which undergoes a filtration process where pure water is produced and then is pumped through hoses and telescopic poles, directly onto the windows and frames.
* A soft bristled brush is used to agitate dust particles, which are then rinsed away with the purified water - NO CHEMICALS ARE USED.
* The clean windows will be left wet, which seems unusual, but be assured, once the water has dried, you will be left with sparkling clean windows with no spots or streaks.
* You will likely notice that the windows stay cleaner for longer. This is because there is no sticky soap residue left on the window. Usually rainfall would mix with this soap residue and form little spots on the windows.
THE WATER PURIFICATION PROCESS
1. The tap water goes through a filtration process, which is first achieved by:
* Reverse osmosis - passing water through a membrane at pressure - where the bulk of the impurities are filtered out, and then by
* De-ionization using a resin.
2. This purified water is pumped from a tank on our vehicle, through a hose to a special lightweight pole and is applied to the windows and frames, firstly by brushing and then by rinsing.
3. The impurities on the windows or frames are suspended in the water and ten rinsed off the surface, leaving the surface free of any mineral deposits.
The windows are left to dry and will have no spots or streaks as there are no chemicals on the surface.
